May Battlecry Prayer Update
How to pray for this generation.
Since the BattleCry movement launched with the completion of two successful events in San Francisco and Detroit, the nation has witnessed youth lifting their voices all over America. The San Francisco event even caught the attention of leading media outlets like Fox News and CNN. Please keep these events in your prayers, especially the one in Philadelphia May 12-13.
Pray also for this entire generation of young people. Whether they have not attended an event or have been radically changed as the result of one, continue to pray that the Lord would draw them closer to Him. Pray also for the youth in your local church and community. Ask that God would raise them up and equip them with the knowledge, strength and perseverance needed to be a leader in their generation.
On May 12, BattleCry Rallies will be hosted by people just like you throughout the nation. These rallies are a time of prayer and simple demonstration, showing America that thousands of youth are concerned about the condition of their culture and are willing to do whatever it takes to reclaim it with Biblical values.
A few cities to remember in prayer are Cleveland, Houston, Indianapolis, Nashville, Tulsa, Detroit, Philadelphia, Denver, Minneapolis and Boston, among others. Several leaders have already committed to host a rally, and many others have shown interest. Pray that these rallies would have a positive effect on local communities and the country, and that doors would be opened for the spreading of the Gospel.

This summer, Global Expeditions, Teen Mania Ministries’ missions branch, will be sending thousands of teenagers on short term mission trips to over a dozen countries. Ask God to use these willing teens to drastically change the hearts of those they come into contact with. Also pray that the teens themselves would develop a heart for missions and the unreached people of the world.
Summer does not always mean a time of great missions work; it is also a time when many teens become less active in the church and fall away from the Lord. Pray that those who are already involved in their youth group would continue to be involved, learning and growing throughout the summer. Ask that God would also bring even more young people to youth group meetings throughout the summer. Be sure to pray these things specifically for your own church and community as well.
Remaining faithful in prayer is the only way the BattleCry Campaign and your church and community will find success as we strive to reach this generation. Thank you for everything you are doing to reach young people.
